The Friends of the Pocatello Animal Shelter (FPAS) board is responsible for fundraising, and overseeing and distributing funds raised for the animals of the Pocatello Animal Shelter. FPAS is a working board, which means that board members are volunteers who participate in program, fundraising, and administrative work. Those interested in joining FPAS need to have the time and ability to help with planning and working our events as well as helping with any other administrative needs required to keep the organization running.

The board meets the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30pm to discuss fundraising opportunities and management of existing funds to support the shelter. In the lead-up to large events, we often meet weekly to make sure the event planning is on-track, and individual members will work on tasks related to the event (social media posting, distributing flyers, contacting local businesses etc) as they are able to.
